As part of Men’s Mental Health Awareness Month, Appiah Sports Impact partnered with the Get Out Of Depression (GOOD) Foundation, Curious Minds Ghana, Tellmonifa, and the University of Ghana Medical Students Association (UGMSA) to highlight the powerful role of sport in promoting mental health and well-being.

The initiative brought participants together through football, painting, ludo, oware, and other recreational activities, creating a safe and inclusive space for open dialogue around mental health. These engagements fostered connection, reduced social isolation, and reinforced the message that seeking support is a sign of strength, not weakness.

The event has also received coverage from various media platforms, amplifying the conversation on mental health awareness and the role of sport in community well-being.

Participants engaged in painting activities as part of the mental health initiative and stress-relief exercises.
At Appiah Sports Impact, we believe sport goes far beyond physical activity. It is a tool for unity, resilience, and social change capable of breaking stigma and creating safe spaces where mentalbhealth conversations can thrive.
